- Q1 No sound is output from the headphones or from Master Out.

There are various possible causes. Check the following.
(1) Are the connection cables connected properly? Connect the connection cables properly. For details, see “Connections” in the Operating Instructions.
(2) Are terminals or plugs dirty? Wipe any dirt off terminals and plugs before making connections.
(3) Check the procedure to output audio.
[Outputting audio]
The following describes the procedure for outputting the channel 1 audio as an example.Output audio from the master output.
Set the volume of the device connected to the [MASTER] output terminals (power amplifier, powered speakers, etc.) to an appropriate level. Note that the output sound may be loud if the volume is set too high.1. Set the positions of the controls, etc., as shown below.
[MASTER LEVEL]: Turned fully counterclockwise
[TRIM]: Turned fully counterclockwise
[Channel fader]: Moved forward2. Play the track.
3. Move the channel fader (Figure 9 below) backward.
4. Turn the [TRIM] control (Figure 1 below).
Adjust [TRIM] so that the orange indicator on the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.
5. Turn the [MASTER LEVEL] control (Figure 4 below) to adjust the speaker audio level.Output audio from the headphones.

[HEADPHONES LEVEL]: Turned fully counterclockwise2. Press the headphones [CUE] button of channel 1.
3. Turn the [HEADPHONES LEVEL] control (Figure 5 below).

Check the following.
1. Does your computer meet the system requirements of the DJ software?
Check [System Requirements] on rekordbox.com.
http://rekordbox.com2. Are the sound volume adjustment control and slider set appropriately?
Check “Playing tracks and outputting the sound” in Operating Instructions of this unit. Operating Instructions can be obtained from the support page.3. Is the buffer size adjusted appropriately?
The latency (the period from when this unit is operated until the sound is output) can be shortened by lowering the buffer size setting. If there are interruptions in the sound, increase the buffer size, but note that this makes the latency longer. Set the buffer size to the minimum value at which no interruptions in the sound occur.The buffer size can be adjusted in [Preferences] of rekordbox.
4. Is the master tempo function on?
When the master tempo function is on, the sound quality changes because key control processing is performed to keep the key constant. This change in sound quality is in accordance with the specifications of the product and is not a malfunction.5. Are you using a USB hub?
⇒ A USB hub cannot be used. Be sure to connect this unit directly to a USB port on the computer.6. Are other applications running?
Exit all other applications including the screen saver and resident software.
(Disable the internet connection to ensure the security of your computer before exiting antivirus and other security software.)7. Is the USB cable connected properly?
⇒ Connect this unit and the computer directly using the included USB cable.8. Is your computer set to power saving mode?
⇒ Cancel the power saving mode of your computer.9. Does your computer have a wireless connection function or Bluetooth function?
⇒ Turn off the wireless connection function and Bluetooth function.10. Are USB devices other than this unit connected?
Remove external hard disks and the keyboard, etc. Check the status only with the built-in hard disk.11. If your computer has more than one USB port, try a different USB port.
Net Number : 49 - Q3 I hear noise when no music is played or the volume is low.

When [MIC LEVEL] is raised while a microphone is not in use, noise occurs in the master output or headphone output.
If you don‘t use a microphone, turn the [MIC LEVEL] knob to the minimum position.Net Number : 71
