- Q1 The message [Log in with the computer administrator’s account] appears and rekordbox cannot be started.

Set the cursor to the rekordbox installer’s shortcut icon, then right-click and display the properties. In the Compatibility tab there is an item called Privilege Level or Settings. Check “Run This Program As An Administrator”, then click [OK]. Once the dialog box closes, launch the rekordbox installer.
Net Number : 43 - Q2 Operation is possible with rekordbox but the sound is not output (The DDJ-400 is not recognized as the audio device).

(1) Check whether or not the TRIM control, channel fader, crossfader, MASTER LEVEL control, EQ control, and FILTER control are at appropriate positions.
For details, refer to the FAQ “Troubleshooting -No audio”(2) If multiple USB devices (mouse, keyboard, etc.) are connected to the same USB bus system on the computer or to a USB hub, correct operation may not be possible due to problems of the USB bus' band or compatibility between USB devices.
In this case, the problem can sometimes be solved by changing the connected USB port.(3) Are this unit and the computer connected properly with a USB cable?
This unit and the computer need to be connected properly.(4) Is the rekordbox software latest version?
If you are using rekordbox Ver.4.x or earlier, download latest rekordbox from rekordbox.com.
If rekordbox Ver.5.x is already installed, update rekordbox to the latest version using the Update Manager which is shown when starting rekordbox.For the most recent information on the supported operating systems, check rekordbox.com.

(5) Are terminals or plugs dirty? Wipe any dirt off terminals and plugs before making connections.

It is possible that the music file has not been analyzed by rekordbox.
For how to analyze music files and details on the BEAT SYNC function, refer to the rekordbox Software Manual. Obtain the rekordbox Software Manual from the following rekordbox website.

To change the sampler tempo, set the sampler slot play mode to [Loop]. If the slot play mode is [Oneshot], the tempo will not change even if the sampler BPM value is changed.
Net Number : 46 - Q5 No sound comes out from the PC speaker even though PC MASTER OUT is turned on. (Windows)

Check the sound setting on the computer by following the instructions below.
(1) Connect the DDJ-400 to the computer.
Open [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] and click [Sound].
(2) Check the sound setting.
If the DDJ-400 is selected as default device, click a sound device other than the DDJ-400.
Click [Set as Default].
(3) Close the Control Panel. See if you can change the volume of the computer speaker.
Net Number : 60 - Q6 When PC MASTER is ON, the playback stops a lot and rekordbox does not run smoothly.
