It is possible.
In order to operate MIDI-compatible DJ software with this unit, the various functions of the DJ software must be assigned to this unit's control interface.

Generally, yes. However, DRM-protected tracks cannot be played.

The latency (the period from when this unit is operated until the sound is output) can be shortened by lowering the buffer size setting. If there are interruptions in the sound, increase the buffer size, but note that this makes the latency longer. Set the buffer size to the minimum value at which no interruptions in the sound occur.
For Mac users
The buffer size can be adjusted in [SETUP] - [Audio] of Serato DJ.For Windows users
Click [SETUP] - [Audio] of Serato DJ and then click the [Start Driver Panel] button to display the ASIO setting utility screen. On this screen, you can set [Buffer Size].Follow the procedure below to set the buffer size to the minimum value at which no interruptions in the sound occur.
Check whether or not interruptions in the sound occur with the default setting (buffer size: 256 samples).[When no interruptions in the sound occur at the default setting]

Yes. When this unit and the computer are connected and a track is played in iTunes, the sound is input to this unit's channel 1. It cannot be input to other channels. In this case, however, the volume cannot be changed even by operating a trim control or fader on this unit. (The channel level meter also does not light.)
When listening to playback sound with headphones, fully turn the HEADPHONES MIX control clockwise and then adjust the HEADPHONES LEVEL control to an appropriate position.
Also, files containing DRM data cannot be played.If sound is not input when the above operation is performed, do the following.
Windows 7
Display the [Run] dialog box from the [Start] menu, enter [mmsys.cpl], and click [OK]. The [Sound] window opens. Select [DDJ-SR2] on the [Playback] tab.

In [Select a device for sound output] on the [Output] tab in [Sound] of [System Preferences], select [DDJ-SR2] from the sound devices. DDJ-SR2's input channel can be changed by selecting [DDJ-SR2] in [Audio MIDI Settings] of [Applications] > [Utilities] and then using the [Configure speakers...] dialog box.Net Number : 55 - Q12 Can I set not to output microphone sound from the [BOOTH] output terminals?

Yes. Configure the setting in the utilities mode of the unit.
