- Q1 Does the DDJ-1000 support restarting from the computer's standby and sleep modes?

Operation is not guaranteed when the computer has been restarted from the standby or sleep mode.
Net Number : 10 - Q2 There are three types of volume adjustments: TRIM control, channel faders and MASTER LEVEL control. What is the difference between them?

TRIM: Adjusts the level of the sound input to the respective channels from the deck of the DJ application or external device.
CHANNEL FADER: Adjusts the level of sound output from the respective channels for mixing.
MASTER LEVEL: Adjusts the level of sound output from DDJ-1000 to an external device.Examples of use
1. Play tracks.
2. Move the channel fader away from you.
3. Adjust TRIM so that the orange indicator on the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.
4. Use MASTER LEVER to adjust the sound level of the speaker connected to the MASTER OUT terminal.Net Number : 11 - Q3 I don't want to output the sound of the computer's program events (warning tones, etc.). Is there any method to prevent it?

Using the sound settings in Control Panel, set all sound settings for program events to OFF.Mac OS X

Follow the procedure below.
1) Download the update file from the Pioneer DJ support site.
2) Extract the downloaded file (extraction will be performed automatically by some browsers).
3) Connect this unit to your computer using a USB cable.
4) Turn on the power with the power button of this unit.
5) Double-click the file extracted in step 2).
6) Start the update following the instructions on the screen.The update file and update procedure can be obtained from here.
Net Number : 13 - Q5 I wish to assign the functions of DJ software other than rekordbox to the buttons and controls of DDJ-1000 so that I can use them. Where can I find out what MIDI code is output from each button and control?

Yes. When you connect this unit with your computer and play a track on iTunes, the sound is input to this unit's master channel.
However, files containing DRM data cannot be played.If sound is not input when the above operation is performed, do the following.

Display the [Run] dialog box from the [Start] menu, enter [mmsys.cpl], and click [OK]. The [Sound] window opens. Select [DDJ-1000] on the [Playback] tab.

In [Select a device for sound output] on the [Output] tab in [Sound] of [System Preferences], select [DDJ-1000] from the sound devices. DDJ-1000's input channel can be changed by selecting [DDJ-1000] in [Audio MIDI Settings] of [Applications] > [Utilities] and then using the [Configure speakers...] dialog box.Net Number : 15 - Q7 Is it possible to set microphone sound not to be output from the [BOOTH] output terminals?

Yes. Follow the procedure below to configure the setting.
1) Connect this unit to your computer using a USB cable.
2) Launch rekordbox.
3) Open [Preferences] of rekordbox.
4) Select Controller.
5) Select the [Mixer] tab.
6) Select the [Does not output microphone sound to the Booth output.] check box in the Booth output settings.Net Number : 16 - Q8 I can't call the function assigned by PAD MODE.
