Serato DJ is the software that has succeeded ITCH. The basic functions and specifications are the same, but some of the functions have evolved.
Serato Scratch Live is a digital DJ system consisting of the software and interface allowing DJing on conventional DJ equipment using special control records/CDs. Serato DJ is a digital DJ system allowing DJing using special hardware, without using time codes. The devices to which these two software programs are connected differ.
