Q1 The message [Log in with the computer administrator’s account] appears and Serato DJ　Pro cannot be installed.: A1

Set the cursor to the Serato DJ　Pro application’s shortcut icon, then right-click and display the properties. In the Compatibility tab there is an item called Privilege Level. Check “Run This Program As An Administrator”, then click [OK]. Once the dialog box closes, launch the Serato DJ　Pro application.

Q2 Operation is possible with Serato DJ Pro but the sound is not output (The DDJ-SX3 is not recognized as the audio device).: A2

(1) Check whether or not the TRIM control, channel fader, crossfader, MASTER LEVEL control, EQ control, COLOR control, and BOOTH LEVEL control are at appropriate positions.
For details, see "Playing tracks and outputting the sound" in "Before start (Important) / Quick Start Guide."

(2) If multiple USB devices (mouse, keyboard, etc.) are connected to the same USB bus system on the computer or to a USB hub, correct operation may not be possible due to problems of the USB bus's band or compatibility between USB devices.
In this case, the problem can sometimes be solved by changing the connected USB port.

(3) Sound may sometimes not be output after the INPUT SELECT switch is switched. This is in accordance with the specifications of Serato DJ Pro.
Return the channel fader to the zero position and then try increasing the level again.

(4) Set the position of the INPUT SELECT switch to USB A or USB B.

Q3 I cannot control Serato DJ's DECK using control CD/Vinyl.: A3

Check the following items:

1. Have you purchased Vinyl/CDJ control as an Expansion Pack from Serato?
You need to purchase Vinyl/CDJ control as an Expansion Pack to use DVS with DDJ-SX3.

2. Is the firmware the latest version?
The firmware is the system software inside the unit. To use this unit more comfortably, always use the latest version.

3. Are the settings and connections correct?
For details on the settings and connections, see "Using the DVS system" in the operating instructions.
The latest firmware and operation instructions can be obtained from the support site on the Pioneer DJ web page.

Q4 Windows crashes when Serato DJ is started.: A4

Try performing the procedure below.
1) Uninstall Serato DJ Pro.
2) Create a new Windows login account with administrator rights.
(Use single-byte alphanumeric characters for the user name.)
3) Log in to Windows with the new login account and install Serato DJ Pro again.

To use the quantize function, the songs to be played by Serato DJ Pro must be analyzed by Serato DJ Pro beforehand.
　
After prior analysis, pressing the HOT CUE mode button for at least one second switches the quantize function on and off.
