- Q1 No audio output through the master output or headphones.

There are various possible causes. Check the following.
(1) Are the connection cables connected properly? Connect the connection cables properly. For details, see "Connecting input terminals" and/or "Connecting output terminals" in the operating instructions.
(2) Are the terminals and plugs dirty? Clean the terminals and plugs before making connections.
(3) Is the master output attenuator level set to -6 DB? Switch the master output attenuator level in the utilities mode. For details, see "Changing the settings" in the operating instructions.
(4) Check the procedure to output audio.
[Select output audio]
Select the sound source used by each channel.
Select the CH/CH2 input source with the INPUT SELECT switch on the top panel.
[DECK1-4]: Select this to use the track loaded in the Serato DJ deck.
[PHONO/LINE]: Select this to use an output device such as a DJ player or analog player connected to the [PHONO/LINE] input terminals.
When selecting [PHONO/LINE], also set the [LINE/PHONO] switch on the rear panel. Set the switch to [LINE] when using a DJ player, and set it to [PHONO] when using an analog player.
[Output audio]
The following explains how to output audio of Channel 1.-Output audio from Master Out.
Set the volume of the devices (power amplifier, powered speakers, etc.) connected to the [MASTER 1] and [MASTER 2] terminals to an appropriate level. Note that loud sound will be output if the volume is set too high.1. Set the positions of the controls, etc., as shown below.
[MASTER LEVEL]: Turned fully counterclockwise
[TRIM]: Turned fully counterclockwise
[Channel fader]: Moved towards you2. Play the track.
3. Move the channel fader (Figure 7 below) to backward.
4. Turn the [TRIM] control (Figure 4 below).
Adjust [TRIM] so that the orange indicator on the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.
5. Turn the [MASTER LEVEL] control (Figure 10 below) to adjust the speaker audio level.-Output audio from the headphones.
1. Set the positions of the controls as shown below.
[HEADPHONES MIX control] Center position
[HEADPHONES LEVEL control] Turned fully counterclockwise2. Press the headphone [CUE] button of Channel 1.
3. Turn the [HEADPHONES LEVEL] control.
Adjust the audio level output from the headphones to the appropriate sound volume.

Check the following items.
1. Does your computer meet the system requirements of the DJ software?
⇒ Check : What are the system requirements (recommended operating environment) for Serato DJ?2. Are the sound volume adjustment control and slider set appropriately?
⇒ Check: Troubleshooting - No audio > No sound is output from the headphones or master output.3. Is the buffer size adjusted appropriately?
⇒ Check: Functions > How should I adjust the buffer size?4. Is the input level of the microphone or other connected device appropriate?
⇒ Check: Troubleshooting > The sound of the microphone is distorted5. Is the key lock on?
When the key lock is on, the sound quality changes because key control processing is performed to keep the key constant. This change in sound quality is in accordance with the specifications of the product and is not a failure.6. Are you using a USB hub?
⇒ A USB hub cannot be used. Be sure to connect this unit directly to a USB port on the computer.7. Are other applications running?
Exit all other applications including the screen saver and resident software.
(When exiting antivirus and other security software, before doing so, be sure to disconnect the Internet connection to ensure the security of your computer.)8. Is the USB cable connected properly?
⇒ Connect the computer and DDJ-SR2 using the included USB cable.9. Is your computer set to power saving mode?
⇒ Cancel the power saving mode of your computer.10. Does your computer have a wireless connection function or Bluetooth function?
⇒ Turn off the wireless connection function or Bluetooth function.11. Are USB devices other than the DDJ-SR2 connected?
Remove external hard disks and the keyboard (for some models), etc. to check the status with only the built-in hard disk.12. If your computer has more than one USB port, check using a different USB port.
