FAQ
- Q1 No sound is output from the headphones or from Master Out.

There are various possible causes. Check the following.
(1) Are the connection cables connected properly? Connect the connection cables properly. For details, see "Connecting input terminals" and "Connecting output terminals" in the Operating Instructions.
(2) Are terminals or plugs dirty? Wipe any dirt off terminals and plugs before making connections.
(3) Is the master output attenuator level set to -6 DB? Switch the master output attenuator level in [Preferences] of rekordbox. For details, refer to "Changing the settings with rekordbox" in the Operating Instructions.
(4) Check the procedure to output audio.
[Selecting output audio]
Select the sound source used by each channel.
Select the CH1 - 4 input source with the INPUT SELECT switch on the top panel.
[USB A] or [USB B]: Select this to use the track loaded in the rekordbox dj deck.
[PHONO/LINE]: Select this to use an output device such as a DJ player or analog player connected to the [PHONO/LINE] input terminals.
When selecting [PHONO/LINE], also set the [LINE/PHONO] switch on the rear panel. Set the switch to [LINE] when using a DJ player, and set it to [PHONO] when using an analog player.
[Outputting audio]
The following describes the procedure for outputting the channel 1 sound as an example.Output audio from the [MASTER] output terminals.
Set the volume of the devices connected to the [MASTER 1] output terminal and [MASTER 2] output terminal (power amplifier, powered speakers, etc.) to an appropriate level. Note that the output sound may be loud if the volume is set too high.1. Set the positions of the controls, etc., as shown below.
[MASTER LEVEL]: Turned fully counterclockwise
[TRIM]: Turned fully counterclockwise
[EQ (HI/MID/LOW)]: Center
[COLOR]: Center
[Channel fader]: Moved towards you2. Play the track.
3. Move the channel fader (Figure 5 below) backward.
4. Turn the [TRIM] control (Figure 2 below).
Adjust [TRIM] so that the orange indicator on the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.
5. Turn the [MASTER LEVEL] control (Figure 10 below) to adjust the speaker audio level.Output audio from the headphones.
1. Set the positions of the controls as shown below.
[HEADPHONES MIXING]: Center
[HEADPHONES LEVEL]: Turned fully counterclockwise2. Press the headphones [CUE] button of channel 1.
3. Turn the [HEADPHONE LEVEL] control (Figure 7 below).
Adjust the sound level output from the headphones to an appropriate level.
Net Number : 52 - Q2 No sound comes out from master audio output when Beat FX is applied to MASTER when using rekordbox.

Please update the firmware of the DDJ-1000 firmware to ver. 1.05 or later and rekordbox to ver. 5.3.0 or later.
Net Number : 100 - Q3 No mic sound when Beat FX is applied to MIC when using rekordbox.

Please update the firmware of the DDJ-1000 firmware to ver. 1.05 or later and rekordbox to ver. 5.3.0 or later.
Net Number : 101 - Q4 No sound comes out from external input when Beat FX is applied to CH1 / CH2 / CH3 / CH4 when using rekordbox and using external input sources.
