Net Number : 56 - Q7 When effect cue is turned on, the echo and reverb effect sounds cannot be heard. Is this a malfunction?
-
A7
Unlike other effects, echo and reverb are post effects.
The sound cannot be recognized by effect cue.
Echo and reverb are designed as post effects in order to produce natural reverbs when cutting the sound by vertical fader.Net Number : 58 - Q8 A different position on the touch panel from the position I touch responds. I calibrated the touch panel, but this did not fix the problem.
-
A8
Pay attention to the following when calibrating the touch panel in the graph setting mode.
When calibrating, use a touch pen or other object with a narrow tip to touch the center of the point at which the + marks that are displayed intersect.
The calibration may not be accurate if you use your finger when calibrating.Net Number : 71 - Q9 The sound doesn't change when I operate the touch fader on the touch panel in the Frequency Mix mode.
-
A9
The Frequency Mix mode's touch fader cannot be operated for channels for which the sound is turned off with the crossfader at the bottom of the touch panel. Set the crossfader back to the center.
Also, the Frequency Mix mode's channel assignment may be wrong. Set it to the channel you want to operate.Net Number : 72 - Q10 When I turned the mixer's power off then back on, the link function could no longer be used.
-
A10
A different network may have been connected (for example, link connections were only established between the DJM-2000 and CDJ-2000 or CDJ-900 when the power was last turned on, but when the power was turned on next connections were also established with the router or hub connected to the Internet).
Products supporting link connections such as the DJM-2000 and CDJ-2000/CDJ-900 search for the DHCP server when the power is turned on. If the DHCP server cannot be found, a unique IP address is assigned with the AutoIP function.
Before the power is turned off, if the product is being used in an AutoIP environment with no DHCP server then connects to a network to which a DHCP server is connected while the product is being used, the IP address of the DHCP network rather than that of the AutoIP network is assigned the next time the power is turned on, so the product can no longer communicate with the devices it was communicating with before. When using the link function, only connect the DJM-2000 and CDJ-2000/CDJ-900, not a router or hub using an Internet connection.
Net Number : 73 - Q11 No sound can be heard from the headphones when the BEAT EFFECT CUE button is pressed.
-
A11
For [ECHO], [REVERB], [ROLL], [SLIP ROLL] and [REV ROLL], when BEAT EFFECT is turned off, the effect sound cannot be monitored by pressing the [CUE] (BEAT EFFECT) button.
For [ECHO] and [REVERB] in particular, when BEAT EFFECT is turned off, no sound is output to the headphones when the [CUE] (BEAT EFFECT) button is pressed.
The above effect modes are post effects, so it is normal that these effect sounds cannot be monitored. This is not a malfunction.Net Number : 74 - Q12 The sound from the BOOTH outputs gets low sometimes.
-
A12
With the settings below, the microphone sound is not output from the BOOTH outputs, but when the talk over function is activated the BOOTH output level decreases.
-When the microphone output from the BOOTH outputs is set to OFF
-When the microphone is on when connected
-When TALK OVER is set to ONNet Number : 75 - Q13 Noise is output from a channel to which nothing is being input.
-
A13
Is INST FX "NOISE" turned on?
This effect generates white noise in the set regardless of the input, so noise is output even when nothing is being input.Net Number : 76 - Q14 After updating the version (to V1.28), the digital output is lower.
-
A14
With the previous version, the digital output when the DJM-2000's DIGITAL OUT MAX LEVEL is set to -19 dB was larger than other Pioneer mixers, so it has been modified to the same level.
Net Number : 79 - Q15 The connected CDJ-2000’s [ON AIR DISPLAY] function (when the Jog Ring Illumination lights red) does not work properly.
-
A15
(1) The [ON AIR DISPLAY] function will not work properly if the channels connected with the CDJ-2000 by LAN cable differ from the channels connected with audio cables. Connect the same channels.
(2) Is one of the audio volume controls (input trim, channel fader, crossfader and master volume) set to the minimum? If the volume is turned all the way down, the Jog illumination lights white.
(3) When using an external hub, set the CDJ-2000’s player number in the CDJ-2000’s utility menu to the same number as the channel to which the sound is being input.
(4) If [ON AIR DISPLAY] in the CDJ-2000’s utility menu is set to off, set it to on.Net Number : 85
