Q1 What is driver software?

Driver software allows you to connect this unit to a computer.
The driver software can be obtained from the support site of the Pioneer DJ support page.

Q2 I connected the unit to my computer for the first time, but installation of the driver software was canceled before the device status on the computer became available. Can you explain how to reinstall it? (The same symptom occurs even when I change the USB terminal connection of the computer.)

If the driver software has already been installed, reconnect the USB cable. The reinstallation wizard proceeds and installation can be continued.
If the driver software has not been installed, obtain the latest driver from the Pioneer website and install it.

Q3 I don't know how to install/uninstall the dedicated driver software.

For the installation procedure, see "Installing the software" in this unit's operating instructions. The uninstallation procedure is as follows:

Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10.
1. From the Control Panel, open [Programs and Features].
2. Select [Pioneer DDJ-RZX Driver] and click [Uninstall/Change].
3. Operate by following the instructions that appear on the screen. When the system prompts you for the administrator password or for confirmation, enter the password or provide the confirmation information.

Mac OS
1. Double-click the [DDJ-RZX Uninstaller.app] uninstaller to launch.
　Note: The [DDJ-RZX Uninstaller.app] uninstaller is stored on the [DDJ-RZX_M_..*dmg] disc image that was downloaded during installation.
2. Operate by following the instructions that appear on the screen.
3. Be sure to restart the machine after completing the uninstallation procedure.
