- Q1 What can I do by connecting this unit and a computer by USB?

You can perform DJing using DJ application and create and record tracks. This unit supports two interfaces: the "USB sound card" for the input/output of digital audio signals and a computer, and the "MIDI interface" that can control the operation of buttons and knobs of the unit from the computer.
1. The USB sound card enables input of the (digital) sound from DJ application on the computer to this unit.
2. The USB sound card also enables input of the (digital) sound from this unit to DJ application on the computer.
3. The MIDI interface enables control of DJ application on the computer by sending MIDI signals.Net Number : 21 - Q2 I would like to use my DJ application. Is this possible simply by connecting this unit and the computer with a USB cable?

Settings must be made on this unit and on the computer beforehand.
When using in combination with the sound device of another unit, the preparations in "1" below are not necessary, but in principle we recommend using this unit's built-in sound card.1. To use the USB sound card function
First, the dedicated driver software must be installed on the computer. For instructions on installing the driver software and details on operations with the USB sound card (audio interface) function, see "Installing the driver software","About the setting utility software" in this unit's operating instructions. With any of these standards, the dedicated driver software must be installed using the "Driver Software".Windows
ASIO: Up to four sets of inputs and four sets of outputs of stereo audio signals with sampling frequencies of 48 kHz and bit depths of 24 bits can be input/output simultaneously.

Normal operation is not guaranteed in this case. We strongly recommend connecting only this unit to the computer's USB port when using this unit.

This DJM sends MIDI signals corresponding to each button and knob to control DJ application on a computer connected to a USB port. Check the MIDI message list on our support page. rekordbox dj can use the USB sound card (audio interface) function of this unit. Windows
Click on the Start menu, select "Run", type "mmsys.cpl" and click "OK". The audio settings window will open.
At the [Playback] tab, select "DJM-250MK2".
*This cannot be used at the same time with the ASIO driver.Mac OS
Open [System Preferences] > [Sound] > [Output] and select "DJM-250MK2" from the list of sound output devices.
Open the Audio MIDI Setup application located in Utilities. Select "DJM-250MK2". You can change output channel for this DJM by using [Configure Speakers ...] dialog.You can select channels (CH1, CH2, AUX) to input audio data from your computer. See the Operating Instructions (Changing the Settings-About the setting utility software) for details.
Net Number : 31 - Q8 I do not want to output the sound of the computer's program events (warning sounds, etc.). Is there a way to prevent this?
