- Q1 Songs cannot be imported from a USB memory device or USB hard disk inserted in the computer during DJ playing.

Starting an import operation will disable DJ operation.
Net Number : 55 - Q2 New songs cannot be loaded on a player in operation.

The GENERAL-LOAD LOCK in UTILITY prevents loading when set to on. Check the setting.
Net Number : 60 - Q3 MP3 and AAC jacket photos do not appear in the Browse screen.

This can happen when the jacket photo data in the selected file is not recorded, is not in a compatible format (JPEG) or because the photo is larger than 800 x 800 dots.

Make the following checks.
(1) The disk or USB memory device or USB hard disk the songs are recorded on are not connected. Connect the disk or USB memory device or USB hard disk that store the songs.
(2) The registered songs may have been deleted from the USB memory device or USB hard disk, file names of the registered songs may have been changed, or their location may have changed.
Register files whose names have been changed or whose location has been changed in the play list again.
Other problems may also affect files in the DJS play list.

(1) It is not possible to add music CD (CD-DA) songs and DJS songs to the song play list. (2) A total of 150 songs can be registered in one play list. When the play list becomes full, no more songs can be added.
Net Number : 106 - Q6 Scratch operation of VBR files sometimes causes the blue ball in the center display (effect screen) to stop.

Since VBR sound processing takes time, the sound may drop out. The JOG animation moves with the sound and this accounts for its strange behavior.

This is because the advance reading function is in operation and any sound at the end of the previous song will be heard at the beginning of the next song.

Remove the USB memory device or USB hard disk and try writing to it, then reconnect the USB memory device or USB hard disk .
Net Number : 109 - Q9 After registering songs from a USB memory device or USB hard disk ormatted using the HFS+ format in the playlist. I connected to a Mac and deleted the registered files, but MEP-7000 could still play back the files.

Deleted play list songs are moved to the trash and they can be played back while they are there. Connect the USB memory device or USB hard disk to the Macintosh and empty the trash can.
Net Number : 110 - Q10 Auto Mixing sometimes stops audio CD playback.

When the tempo slider is moved to the minimum position, the BPM SYNC function may switch the tempo range to WIDE.

A switch to Wide mode permits a variable output of ±100%. Wide mode is not available with MP3, ACC, WAV and AIFF. (The range for these formats is ±16%).

CD and CD-R data is stored in the internal memory of the MEP-7000. One disc can store up to 10 points (1 point per disc) and data for a total of 2000 discs can be stored. Data for music files on USB memory device or USB hard disk are stored on these devices (1 point per file and there is no file limitation).

A disc that is being played cannot be ejected. Press Pause or Cue standby before pressing the EJECT button.
Net Number : 127 - Q21 During use of MP3, ACC, WAV and AIFF files recorded on a disc it is not possible to eject the disc by pressing eject even when the disc is paused.

You cannot eject a disc when a song on that disc is being played back on the other player (a song on the same disc is loaded to both player A and B). Pause playback on the other player or engage cue standby before pressing EJECT.
