Net Number : 7 - Q4 When DJ software is connected, the characters in the track information for MP3 and AAC files are not displayed properly.
-
A4
This unit’s track information may be in a language not supported by the connected DJ software. Refer to the DJ software’s operating instructions for the range of languages the DJ software supports.
Files in MP3 and AAC format support ID3 tags for embedding track information, so artist names, album names, etc., can be read out from the files and displayed. Files in WAV and AIFF format, on the other hand, do not support ID3 tags, so artist names, album names, etc., cannot be read out from them. To display the track information in this case, the information must first be edited at the “Edit” option. Note that with the Import from iTunes function, the file information in the iTunes library is browsed, so the track information is displayed even for files in WAV and AIFF format.

Net Number : 29 - Q11 With driver Ver. 1.001 and later, the number of kernel buffers can be adjusted, but how do I adjust the buffer size?
-
A11
In the same way as the with the buffer size setting, lowering the value of the kernel buffer number setting lowers the latency, while raising it tends to reduce interruptions in sound.
Make the setting using the procedure below.First, check whether interruptions in sound occur with the default settings (kernel buffer number: 3, buffer size: 256 samples).
[If interruptions in sound do not occur with the default settings]
Gradually lower the buffer size, setting it to the lowest number at which sound is not interrupted.
After this, set the kernel buffer number to 2 and check whether or not sound is interrupted. If so, set the kernel buffer number to 3.[If interruptions in sound occur with the default settings]
Set the kernel buffer number to 4, then set the buffer size to the lowest number at which sound is not interrupted.Net Number : 55
