Net Number : 7 - Q6 The characters in the track information for MP3, AAC and other files are not displayed properly when the DJ software is connected.
-
A6
The DDJ-S1's track information may be in a language that is not supported by the connected DJ software. See the DJ software's operating instructions for the languages supported by your DJ software.
Files in MP3 and ACC format support ID3 tags for embedding track information, so the artist name, album name, etc., can be read from the file and displayed. On the other hand, files in WAV and AIFF format do not support ID3 tags, so their track information (artist name, album name, etc.) cannot be read. To display the track information, this track information must be edited at the Edit item. Note that the Import from iTunes function consults the file information in the iTunes library, so the track information is displayed even with files in WAV and AIFF format.

Net Number : 47 - Q14 How can the buffer size be adjusted?
-
A14
As with the buffer size setting, the smaller the value of the kernel buffer number setting, the lower the latency, but interruptions in the sound tend to occur less with a larger value.
Make the setting using the procedure described below.
Check whether interruptions in the sound occur with ITCH's default setting (buffer size: 512 samples).[If interruptions in the sound do not occur with the default setting]
Gradually reduce the buffer size and set it to the lowest value at which no interruptions in the sound occur.
After this, open the DDJ ASIO settings utility, set the kernel buffer value to 2 and check whether interruptions in the sound occur. If so, set the kernel buffer value to 3.[If interruptions in the sound do occur with the default setting]
Open the DDJ ASIO settings utility, set the kernel buffer value to 4, then set the ITCH buffer size to the lowest value at which no interruptions in the sound occur.Net Number : 48 - Q15 Is there a MIDI table?
