- Q1 Power does not turn on.

Is the power cord properly connected? Connect the power cord to a power outlet, then press and hold the POWER button to turn on the power.
Also, if the [STANDBY/ON] indicator flashes and the power does not turn on, in some cases normal operation can be restored by disconnecting the power cord, waiting at least 1 minute, then reconnecting the power cord. If the same symptoms persist, disconnect the power cord, then request repairs.Net Number : 84 - Q2 [BEAT EFFECTS] does not work.

There may be a problem with your wireless environment.
-When using this unit in the access point mode, try moving the mobile device closer to this unit.
When using this unit in the WLAN client mode, try moving this unit closer to the wireless LAN router and the wireless LAN router closer to the mobile device.
-If there is another wireless LAN router, a microwave oven, wireless mouse, wireless headphones, cordless telephone, Bluetooth device, etc., (a device using the same 2.4 GHz frequency band) in the room, try moving that device away from this unit and the mobile device.
-Try changing the wireless channel. For directions on doing this, see the operating instructions.
-When using WAV or AIFF files, try changing to MP3 or AAC files.
-If large amounts of data are being transferred by wireless connection nearby (for example for high picture quality net video playback), try stopping data transfer.Net Number : 87 - Q5 Tempo (BPM) cannot be measured or tempo (BPM) measurements are incongruous.

-For some tracks, it may not be possible to measure the tempo.

If the computer can still not be connected properly, quit the DJ application, disconnect the USB cable, then reconnect the USB cable and relaunch the DJ software.Net Number : 89 - Q7 When a computer (Windows) is connected to this unit, a message appears on the computer's screen. What should I do?

When this unit is connected to a computer (Windows) for the first time or when it is connected to a different USB port on the computer, the message "Installing device driver software" may appear on the computer's screen. Wait awhile as such until the message "Device prepared for use" appears.
-[Connect to Windows Update to search for hardware] may appear during installation. If so, select [No, do not connect now], then click [Next] to continue installation.
-[Select the installation method] may appear during installation. If so, select [Install software automatically (recommended)], then click [Next] to continue installation.
-The [Windows Security] screen may appear during installation. If so, click [Install driver software] to continue installation.Net Number : 90 - Q8 Sound played on the computer is not output from this unit.

1. The designated driver software must be installed beforehand in order to output sound from a computer to this unit. For details, see the operating instructions.
2. This unit and the computer must be connected properly. For details, see the operating instructions.
If connections cannot be properly established, quit the DJ software, unplug the USB cable, then plug the USB cable back in and relaunch the DJ software.
3. This unit must be selected in the DJ software’s audio output device settings. For details on making the settings, see your DJ software’s operating instructions.-Settings on this unit
1. Press the MIDI button, then press the rotary selector.
2. This unit’s [DECK, PHONO/LINE] selector switch must be properly set. Set the [DECK, PHONO/LINE] selector switch to the [DECK] position.Net Number : 91 - Q9 MIDI control is not possible.

1. Connect the computer you want to control with MIDI signals to this unit by USB cable.
2. If necessary, set the mixer mode from UTILITY.
When the mixer mode is set to “XDJ-AERO”, the sound can be mixed with the XDJ-AERO’s mixer. (In this case MIDI control is not possible with XDJ-AERO’s mixer.)
When the mixer mode is set to “PC”, the sound can be mixed with the DJ software.
(In this case, the XDJ-AERO’s mixer is the MIDI controller.)
3. Press this unit’s MIDI button, then press the rotary selector.
4. Make the audio settings on the DJ application.
When the mixer mode is set to “XDJ-AERO”:

This unit operates when the computer restarts from the sleep or standby mode, but your DJ software may not. If not, quit the DJ software, disconnect the USB cable, then reconnect the USB cable and relaunch the DJ software.

1. Sound skipping can be reduced by adjusting the buffer size.
2. When you are using a notebook computer, the computer's performance may be intentionally reduced by the power saving function. Use the computer with its AC adapter, not on its battery.

-Press the TIME button while pressing the SHIFT button. When the quantize function is on, [QUANT] is displayed on the LCD.
-Even for tracks that have been analyzed with rekordbox, the quantize function will not work if the tracks have been loaded in the folder browsing mode. Load them in the library browsing mode.
-The quantize function does not work with Sample Launch samples.Net Number : 97 - Q15 I am using a Mac computer, and sound cannot be input/output with the USB sound card (audio interface) function. The dedicated driver software has been installed normally.

If you have turned this unit off in the access point mode then turned it back on, recheck the connection on the mobile device or computer. The mobile device or computer may have connected to a different nearby access point.
If you have turned this unit off in the WLAN client mode then turned it back on, recheck the connection to the wireless router to which this unit should be connected. This unit may have connected to a different nearby wireless router.
Net Number : 100 - Q18 Loading from the USB memory device is not possible with the Sample Launch.

-Only lists in playlists can be loaded from USB memory devices. Create the playlists in advance and register them in a bank.

When settings are changed, wait at least 5 seconds before setting the power to standby.Net Number : 117 - Q22 A mobile device and this unit were connected by Wi-Fi, but the mobile device switched to a different access point all by itself.

The behavior differs according to the mobile device's specifications.
When an access point with a strong signal (one that has been connected to in the past, one with open security, etc.) is detected on the list of wireless (Wi-Fi) connections set on the mobile device, the connection switches automatically.This depends on the mobile device's specifications, but to avoid this operation and prevent the mobile device connection from switching by itself, delete that access point from the list in the wireless (Wi-Fi) settings.
Net Number : 121 - Q23 I don't find the XDJ-AERO on the mobile device's SSID selection screen.

-The sync operation is not possible if slave deck's BPM is less than the master deck's BPM, even if the tempo is +16%. In this case, the message "OUT OF RANGE" is displayed on the LCD.Net Number : 159 - Q42 When I synchronize, the tempo slider on the deck that is not the master stops working.

The BPM value corresponding to the tempo slider's position is displayed on the LCD's playing speed display. Operate the tempo slider to match this with the value displayed in the square frame directly below this. After this is done, the tempo slider can once again be operated.

To keep the tempo from changing suddenly directly after the sync function is turned off, the unit is designed so that the tempo of audio output does not change when the tempo slider is operated until the tempo at the position of the tempo slider matches the tempo of audio output.
The BPM value corresponding to the tempo slider's position is displayed on the LCD's playing speed display. Operate the tempo slider to match this with the value displayed in the square frame directly below this. After this is done, the tempo slider can once again be operated.
