- Q1 The message [Log in with the computer administrator’s account] appears and rekordbox cannot be installed.

Set the cursor to the rekordbox application’s shortcut icon, then right-click and display the properties. In the Compatibility tab there is an item called Privilege Level. Check “Run This Program As An Administrator”, then click [OK]. Once the dialog box closes, launch the rekrodbox application.
Net Number : 59 - Q2 Operation is possible with rekordbox but the sound is not output (The DDJ-RR is not recognized as the audio device).

(1) Set the position of the INPUT SELECT switch to any of DECK 1/2/3/4.
(2) Check whether or not the TRIM control, channel fader, crossfader, MASTER LEVEL control, EQ control, and FILTER control are at appropriate positions.
For details, refer to the FAQ "Troubleshooting - No audio" .(3) If multiple USB devices (mouse, keyboard, etc.) are connected to the same USB bus system on the computer or to a USB hub, correct operation may not be possible due to problems of the USB bus's band or compatibility between USB devices.
In this case, the problem can sometimes be solved by changing the connected USB port.(4) Is the dedicated driver software installed?
Dedicated driver software needs to be installed before using this unit connected with a computer.
Furthermore, the operating systems that are supported by the driver software are as follows.
-Mac OS X
Mac OS X 10.11/10.10/10.9
-Windows
Windows 10/8.1/7 32-bit/64-bit
The driver software can be downloaded from the support page.(5) Are this unit and the computer connected properly with a USB cable?
This unit and the computer need to be connected properly.(6) Is the rekordbox software Ver.4.1.1 or later?
To connect this unit and rekordbox for use, you need Ver.4.1.1 or later.

(7) Are terminals or plugs dirty? Wipe any dirt off terminals and plugs before making connections.

The tracks to be played by rekordbox must be analyzed in advance to use the quantize function.
After prior analysis, pressing the LOAD SEQUENCE button while holding down the SHIFT button of the unit turns the quantize function on.Net Number : 61 - Q4 The SYNC function does not work.

The music files may not have been analyzed by rekordbox.

If the play mode of a sampler slot is [Loop], the performance information of that slot cannot be recorded. Set the slot play mode to [Oneshot].

If the slicer mode or slicer loop mode is selected when in the slip mode, the slip mode will be canceled. To keep the mode set to slip mode, do not select slicer mode or slicer loop mode.

Set [Preferences] > [Controller] > [DECK] > [Needle Lock] of rekordbox to [Unlock].
Net Number : 65 - Q8 The tempo does not change even when the sampler BPM value is changed during sampler playback.

To change the sampler tempo, set the sampler slot play mode to [Loop]. If the slot play mode is [Oneshot], the tempo will not change even if the sampler BPM value is changed.
Net Number : 66 - Q9 Slip reverse playback and reverse playback are not possible.

When slicer mode or slicer loop mode is selected, slipper reverse playback and reverse playback are not possible. Switch to another pad mode.

If RELEASE FX is turned on, BEAT FX of the same effect unit is canceled.

Check the sound setting on the computer by following the instructions below.
(1) Connect the DDJ-RR to the computer.
Open [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] and click [Sound].
(2) Check the sound setting.
If the DDJ-RR is selected as default device, click a sound device other than the DDJ-RR.
Click [Set as Default].
(3) Close the Control Panel. See if you can change the volume of the computer speaker.
