Q1 The message [Log in with the computer administrator’s account] appears and rekordbox cannot be installed.: A1

Hover the cursor to rekordbox shortcut icon, right-click it and display the properties. In the Compatibility tab there is an item called Privilege Level. Check “Run This Program As An Administrator”, then click [OK]. Once the dialog box closes, launch rekordbox.

Q2 I can control rekordbox from the DDJ-1000 but the sound is not output (The DDJ-1000 is not recognized as the audio device).: A2

1. Check the TRIM control, channel fader, crossfader, MASTER LEVEL control, EQ control, and FILTER control are at appropriate positions.
For details, please refer to the FAQ "Troubleshooting - No audio" .

2. If multiple USB devices (mouse, keyboard, etc.) are connected to the same USB bus system on the computer or to a USB hub, the DDJ-1000 may not work properly due to problems of the USB bus's band or compatibility between USB devices.
In this case, the problem may be solved by changing the connected USB port.

3. Is the dedicated driver software installed?
You'll need to install the dedicated driver software when you use this unit connecting with a computer.
As for the download of the driver software and supported OS, please see the support page.

4. Are this unit and the computer connected properly using a USB cable?
This unit and the computer need to be connected properly.
Check [USB A, PHONO/LINE, USB B selector switch] or [USB A, LINE, USB B selector switch] matches the connected USB terminal.

5. Is rekordbox is the latest version?
Please check rekordbox supported OS on rekordbox.com.　http://rekordbox.com

6. Aren't terminals or plugs dirty? Wipe any dirt off terminals and plugs before making connections.

To change the tempo of a sample, set the sampler slot play mode to [Loop]. If the slot play mode is [Oneshot], the tempo will not change even if you change the BPM of a sample.

Check the sound setting on the computer by following the instructions below.

(1) Connect the DDJ-1000 to the computer.
Open [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] and click [Sound].

(2) Check the sound setting.
If the DDJ-1000 is selected as default device, click a sound device other than the DDJ-1000.
Click [Set as Default].

(3) Close the Control Panel. See if you can change the volume of the computer speaker.

1. Is the dedicated driver installed?
The dedicated driver must be installed before using the unit connected with a computer.

2. Are the unit and computer connected correctly with a USB cable.
The unit and computer must be connected correctly.
*This unit and the dedicated driver software support Hi-Speed USB only.
Check if the computer, USB port and USB cable are compatible with Hi-Speed USB.

3. Aren't [Track Gain Adjust] and [Master Output Level Adjust] on rekordbox set to the minimum position?
Adjust them to the appropriate position.

4. Isn't the input selector switch in the mixer section set to [LINE] or [PHONO/LINE]?
Set it to [USB A] or [USB B] by sliding the input selector switch.

5. Is [TRIM] set to the correct position? Adjust [TRIM] so that the orange indicator of the channel level indicator lights at the peak level.

6. Is [MASTER LEVEL] set to the correct position? Adjust [MASTER LEVEL] so that the orange indicator of the master level indicator lights at the peak level.

7. Are terminals or plugs dirty? Wipe any dirt off terminals and plugs before connecting.
