FAQ
- Q1 On page 12 of my operating instructions, at the note, it says that, for the main unit and remote control unit, depending on the product specs, the power cord should be unplugged from the power outlet in order to completely isolate it and prevent fire. It says here there is one type in which power is supplied while in the standby mode, another in which no power is supplied when the power is off. Which type is this product?
-
A1
No power is supplied when the power is off.
There is no standby mode.

Net Number : 20 - Q2 At the explanation of the CLARITY knob for the sound maximizer (page 15), it says that it mainly adjusts the sense of attack and the contours of the sound for medium and high frequencies (hi-hats, snares, etc.). I don't know what "attack", "hi-hat" and "snare" mean so I don't understand the explanation. What do these mean?
-
A2
A typical drum set consists of:
-Bass drum (large): Producing a deep, low frequency sound
-Snare drums (small and medium): Producing a dry, medium range sound.
-Hi-hat (cymbals): Producing a high frequency sound.Attack
With percussion instruments, the sound produced the instant the drumstick strikes the surface is called the attack. When this sound is strong, we can say the "sense of attack is strong".
With a strong sense of attack, the sound produced the instant the player strikes the instrument is easier to hear, so it is easier to catch the rhythm.Net Number : 22 - Q3 What is "ASIO"?
-
A3
Audio Stream Input/Output: An ASIO audio device driver interface.
ASIO is a protocol established by Steinberg of Germany as an application API for audio signal input/output, and is the de facto industry standard. Mac OS X's Core Audio is considered equivalent technology. There are sound drivers in Windows and MAC operating systems, but ASIO provides lower delay, higher synchronicity and higher throughput. The sound drivers provided with conventional operating systems are not designed for multi-channel input (over two channels), so multi-channel inputs for channels over two are required.Net Number : 46 - Q4 Can I turn off the computer's program event sounds (warning tones, etc.)?
-
A4
Yes. Turn off all the program event sound settings at the sound settings in the control panel.
