The biggest feature is the ability to playback 96 kHz/24 bit high resolution audio. Additionally, this product features a large touchscreen display. Used together with the "rekordbox" music management application, this allows speedy song selection from the touchscreen display and at-a-glance comprehension of song development from the new high-resolution multi-color song waveform display. What's more, in addition to "HOT CUE," which allows use of up to 8 locations for instantaneous playback from any position desired, this unit is equipped with a function for assigning its performance functions to the "DDJ-SP1" Add-On DJ Controller that comes with large pads, for more aggressive performance.

PRO DJ LINK offers various link functions that can be used by connecting a Pioneer DJ player (CDJ-2000NXS2, CDJ-2000NXS, CDJ-2000, CDJ-900NXS, CDJ-900, XDJ-1000 or XDJ-700) or DJ mixer (DJM-2000NXS, DJM-2000, DJM-900NXS2, DJM-900NXS or DJM-900SRT) supporting the PRO DJ LINK function or a computer on which rekordbox (Mac/Windows) is installed by LAN cable. The main link functions that can be used with this unit are shown below.
1. Music files on various devices (smartphones, tablets, computers, USB devices, SD memory cards, etc.) can be shared and played on up to four DJ players.
2. The “Beat Sync” function lets you automatically synchronize the tempos and beat positions of tracks on up to four DJ players for playback.
3. The “Traffic Light” function lets you easily find tracks that have a good affinity with the key of the track currently playing on any linked player.
4. The “Status Information” function lets you immediately grasp the DJ mixer’s channel status (on air status and channel number).
5. The “Quantize” function lets you hold performances keeping the loops and hot cues of DJ players and the beat effects of DJ mixers in beat with the track.

For analog output, this unit features a 32-bit high performance D/A converter that offers low noise and minimal distortion across a broad range of frequencies. It also isolates the analog power supply to keep unwanted noise to an absolute minimum, and deliver sound that is faithful to the original source.
