- Q1 Can the assignment of the functions of the TRAKTOR 2 software controlled with this unit's buttons and knobs be changed?

Yes, it can be changed with the TRAKTOR 2 software's mapping table.
Make the settings at [Preferences] > [Controller Manager] in the TRAKTOR 2 software. For details, see the TRAKTOR 2's manual.*The responsibility for creating and changing the mapping table lies with the customer.

The [GROUP] mode is a mode for selecting up to three effects for the respective effect panels and operating them simultaneously. The [SINGLE] mode is a mode allowing detailed operation of the parameters of a single selected effect.

To switch from the [Internal Playback] mode to the [Scratch Control] mode, press the [PLAY (REL.)] or [CUE (ABS.)] button while pressing the [SHIFT] button, as described in "Playing tracks" in this unit's operating instructions.
Switching from the [Scratch Control] mode to the mode [Internal Playback] is not possible from the DJM-T1.
Use the mouse to click "A" or "B" on the TRAKTOR 2 software. A pull-down menu appears. Specify the mode from here.Net Number : 58 - Q4 I do not know how to import a TRAKTOR 2 settings file (TSI file).

First create a backup of the existing mapping table file (TSI file) (because the existing mapping table is automatically deleted when a TSI file is imported).
On the TRAKTOR menu, open [Preferences], then click the [Export] button at the bottom. With the required items checked, click [OK] to save. Next, from the [Import] button at the bottom of [Preferences], select the desired TRAKTOR 2 settings file (TSI file). At the [Select Categories to Import] window, press [OK], then make the [In-Port/Out-Port] settings. This completes the importing procedure.Net Number : 59 - Q5 Some functions do not work after importing a TRAKTOR 2 settings file (TSI file).

The [In-Port/Out-Port] settings at "Device" may not be properly set. Open [Preferences] on the TRAKTOR menu, then click the [Controller Manager] tab.
1. At [Device], select [Pioneer.DJM-T1], then at [In-Port] select the device corresponding to the DJM-T1.
2. At [Device], select [Pioneer.DJM-T1 – Generic MIDI], then at [In-Port] and [Out-Port] select the audio device corresponding to the DJM-T1.Net Number : 60 - Q6 The TRAKTOR 2 software operates multiple times when this unit's buttons are operated once.

The TRAKTOR 2 software may operate multiple times if the same function is assigned multiple times, for example if two TRAKTOR 2 settings files (TSI files) have been imported simultaneously. This problem can be solved by making assignments in such a way that the same functions are not assigned more than once.

The English version can be found on the included on TRAKTOR SCRATCH DUO 2 software's DVD-ROM. Manuals in other languages (Japanese, French, German or Spanish) can be acquired from the Native Instruments SERVICE CENTER after activation. Select "Launch Service Center" from the TRAKTOR [Help] menu.

Yes, DJM-T1 supports TRAKTOR Ver. 2.5.0. However, not all the functions of the Remix Decks can be controlled by DJM-T1.
Some features of Remix Decks can be used in the same way as the Sample Decks.
(However, some specifications are different from those of the current Sample Deck.)TRAKTOR Ver. 2.5.0 only supports Windows7. Windows XP and Windows Vista are no longer supported. .
