- Q1 The message [Log in with the computer administrator’s account] appears and Serato DJ cannot be installed.

Set the cursor to the Serato DJ application’s shortcut icon, then right-click and display the properties. In the Compatibility tab there is an item called Privilege Level. Check “Run This Program As An Administrator”, then click [OK]. Once the dialog box closes, launch the Serato DJ application.
Net Number : 26 - Q2 Operation is possible with Serato DJ but the sound is not output (The DDJ-SX2 is not recognized as the audio device).

(1) Set the INPUT SELECT switch to the PC position.
(2) Check that the TRIM control, channel faders, crossfader, MASTER LEVEL control, EQ control, and FILTER control are in appropriate positions.
For details, see "No sound is output from the headphones or from Master Out" in FAQ "Troubleshooting - No audio".(3) When multiple USB devices (a mouse, a keyboard, etc.) are connected to the same USB bus on the computer or a USB hub, DDJ-SX2 may not operate properly due to problems of USB bus bandwidth or conflicts between USB devices.
The problem can sometimes be solved by changing the USB ports to which devices are connected.(4) Is the dedicated driver software (for Windows only) installed?
The dedicated driver software must be installed before using this unit connected to the computer.
The driver software supports the following operating systems.

You can download the driver software from this page.(5) Are DDJ-SX2 and the computer connected properly with a USB cable?
DDJ-SX2 and the computer must be connected properly.(6) Is your Serato DJ software version 1.7.0 or later?
When DDJ-SX2 and the Serato DJ software are connected, you must use version 1.7.0 or later software.
Serato DJ 1.7.0 supports the following operating systems.

Windows 7 and Windows 8.1
32-bit: (CPU) 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo, 1.07 GHz Core i3, i5, and i7 / (memory) 2 GB

(7) Is Track Gain Adjust or Master Output Level Adjust of the Serato DJ software turned fully down?
Adjust them to an appropriate position.

Net Number : 36 - Q3 When I connect the computer (Windows) and this unit (the DDJ-SX2) by USB cable, launch Serato DJ then turn on this unit’s power, this unit is recognized for a second but the connection drops immediately.

1. Have you purchased Vinyl/CDJ control as an Expansion Pack from Serato?
You need to purchase Vinyl/CDJ control as an Expansion Pack to use DVS with DDJ-SX2.2. Is the firmware the latest version?
The firmware is the system software inside the unit. To use this unit more comfortably, always use the latest version.3. Are the settings and connections correct?
For details on the settings and connections, see "Using the DVS system" in the operating instructions.
The latest firmware and operation instructions can be obtained from the support site on the Pioneer website.4. Is the Serato DJ version correct?
If you use control CD/Vinyl to control DECK, your Serato DJ version must be 1.7.0 or later.
Obtain the latest Serato DJ software from the following Serato website.

Try performing the procedure below.
1) Uninstall Serato DJ.
2) Create a new Windows login account with administrator rights.
(Use single-byte alphanumeric characters for the user name.)
3) Log in to Windows with the new login account and install Serato DJ again.Net Number : 79 - Q6 The quantize function does not work.

To use the quantize function, the songs to be played by Serato DJ must be analyzed by Serato DJ beforehand.
