FAQ
- Q1 What is the maximum length of time that the HOLD function of the Touch Effects can record?
-
A1
It can record the touched track for up to a maximum of 8 seconds.
Net Number : 93 - Q2 Can the Touch Effect’s audio effects be made to change periodically in the same way as beat effects?
-
A2
This is not compatible with beats.
Net Number : 96 - Q3 Are all the visualizers linked to the audio?
-
A3
No, not all of them. The effects that are not linked are BLUR, DISTORTION, KALEIDO, LENS, PATTERNS 1, 3, 4, CUBE, SPOT and DROP.
Also, the effects other than this that are linked work when linked with a LOW level of audio. As a result, if the LOW level is on the low side, the motion of the visualizer will be small.Net Number : 103 - Q4 How long is the latency of the signal that passes through the SVM-1000?
-
A4
For audio it is 2ms, for video Thru, it is about 1 frame; if an effect is applied, then a MAX of about 3 frames. However, if VIDEO SYNC is used and it is connected with a DVJ-1000, it is possible to keep the latency to a minimum—on Thru, it is several lines (essentially 0 frames) and if an effect is applied, about a MAX of 2 frames.
Net Number : 131 - Q5 How much of a discrepancy can there be between audio and video images?
-
A5
When it is not SYNC connected, there can be a maximum discrepancy of about 33ms. (With PAL, 40ms) If it is SYNC connected the discrepancy will just be several ms.
