- Q1 What's PRO DJ LINK?

PRO DJ LINK enables you to use various features when you connect DJ players and a DJ mixer via LAN cables. You can connect your PC/Mac running rekordbox too.

You can record your performances in the following 3 ways:
■ Use a recording device
Connect a recording device to the REC OUT terminal.■ Use your iOS device
Use [DJM-REC]. You can easily record your DJ mixes with this app.■ Use your PC/Mac
Use the recording feature in rekordbox when your computer is connected to the DJM-V10.Click the [REC] icon at the top left of the rekordbox screen to display the recording panel in the middle of the screen.
Click the REC button in the panel to start/stop recording.

Yes.
Audio comes to Channel 1.
Some files, such as Apple Music tracks, can only be played with certain players, so you may not be able to play tracks like these.
Depending on the situation, you may need to change the audio setting on your PC/Mac.
Change the setting as follows:■Windows
Click the speaker icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, then click [Speaker] to switch to [LINE DJM-V10].
When using Windows 8.1 or earlier, set [DJM-V10] as the default device referring to [1. Check the default device selected in the [Sound] panel] in Case 3 of the troubleshooting guide [here].
*The guide is for rekordbox users. However, you can fix the problem in the same way.■Mac
Open [System Preferences] -> [Sound] -> [Output] -> [Sound Output Device] and select [DJM-V10] as the sound device.Net Number : 8 - Q4 There are 3 controls to adjust the volume: TRIM, channel fader, and MASTER LEVEL. What's the difference?

■ TRIM adjusts the volume of the audio coming into the channel from the deck of the DJ application or another source.
In general, it’s best to set it at the center (12 o'clock) and adjust if there’s a difference in the volume of each track.■The channel fader adjusts the volume of the audio going out of the channel.
Normally, for the channel you’re playing, you’ll set it at the top position. For the channel you’re preparing to play next, you’ll set it at the bottom. When you're mixing two tracks, slide the channel faders up and down.
*When you're using the crossfader to mix, set both channel faders at the top.■MASTER LEVEL control adjusts the final volume level going out of the unit to speakers etc.
Once you’ve set it to a level you’re happy with, it’s unlikely you’ll need to change it during your performance.Note: The DJM-V10-LF doesn't have a crossfader. You can control the volume depending on the scale of the channel fader.
Net Number : 9 - Q5 What features are available when I use the USB port in the MULTI I/O section?

You can use the following features when you use the USB port in the MULTI I/O section:
■ SEND/RETURN effects, recording features, etc. within selected apps on your mobile device.
■ Firmware updates using a USB drive.
■ Saving and loading of [MY SETTINGS] using a USB drive.Note: You can't play tracks stored on a USB drive connected to the USB port in the MULTI I/O section.
Net Number : 10 - Q6 Can I charge a mobile device or supply power to a portable hard drive via the DJM-V10?

The mobile device connection terminal (USB port) in the MULTI I/O section on the DJM-V10 can supply 5V/2.1A power.
You can supply power to your portable hard drive or charge your mobile device by plugging either into the terminal.
Note: Check the power specifications of the device you want to connect before you use it.Net Number : 11 - Q7 Can I record my performances with DJM-REC while using the 1/4" Jack in the MULTI I/O section?

Yes. You can use DJM-REC regardless of the MULTI I/O mode.
You can record your performances using DJM-REC even if you use an external FX unit connected to the 1/4" Jack in the MULTI I/O section.Net Number : 12 - Q8 What features are available when I connect my PC/Mac to the unit via a USB cable?

You can control DJ applications such as rekordbox (Performance mode).
You can input audio from your PC/Mac to the DJM-V10 or vice versa.
You can send MIDI signals from the DJM-V10 to software on your PC/Mac.Before you connect to your PC/Mac via a USB cable, be sure to install the driver software.
