FAQ
- Q1 What is headroom?
-
A1
This indicates how much input signal volume can be supported. Normally it is expressed in decibels. The higher this value, the greater the resistance to excessive inputs and the less the distortion.
Net Number : 37 - Q2 Can signals be output simultaneously from the MASTER, and BOOTH outputs?
-
A2
Yes.
Net Number : 38 - Q3 How do I cancel the auto standby function?
-
A3
See "About the auto standby function" in the operating instructions.
Net Number : 39 - Q4 I think that generally speaking the TRIM control should be adjusted watching the channel level indicator for a maximum indication of about 0 dB. Why does the indicator go up to +9 dB? From what dB setting does the output sound begin to distort?
-
A4
Generally 0 dB is the reference value for the mixer, but considering usage in many different environments, this unit's channel level indicator goes up to +9 dB. Furthermore, headroom of +19 dB is provided with internal processing, so the sound is not necessarily distorted even when "OVER" lights. However, this unit is equipped with effects that raise the volume, so we recommend adjusting the TRIM control to a level at which "OVER" does not light.
Net Number : 40 - Q5 There are three types of volume adjustments, with the TRIM, channel fader and MASTER LEVEL controls. What is the difference between them?
-
A5
TRIM
This adjusts the audio level input to the respective channels.Channel fader
This adjusts the audio level output from the respective channels for mixing.MASTER LEVEL
This adjusts the audio level output from the [MASTER1] and [MASTER2] terminals.Net Number : 41 - Q6 Does this unit have a fader start function?
-
A6
No, this unit is not equipped with a fader start function.
Net Number : 42 - Q7 Can I record DJ performances?

See "Setting the source of audio data output from this unit to the computer" in the operating instructions for making the settings for outputting sound from this unit. For the settings on the DJ software, see your DJ software's operating instructions.Net Number : 43
