FAQ
- Q1 The unit does not work with a manipulator style connection.
-
A1
You may have to connect a USB cable and a USB auxiliary power cable depending on the specifications of your PC.
Net Number : 2 - Q2 The sound of songs imported using DJS line ripping sounds distorted.
-
A2
An input level that is set too high may cause sound distortion. Lower the input level.
Net Number : 3 - Q3 Songs previously imported into the DJS cannot be played back and are grayed out in the list.
-
A3
MP3 directly imported from a CD-R or CD-RW disc cannot be used by DJS unless the disc is inserted in the optical drive on your computer. Also, DJS cannot play back imported files that have been moved to a different folder or have been renamed.
Net Number : 4 - Q4 When I use DJS for ripping the CD information cannot be acquired.
-
A4
The CD information may not display correctly if the CD database service has been terminated or discontinued. Should this happen, select an available CD database and check operation. The steps for changing CD database are listed below.
1) Click [File; Preferences] in the menu at the top of DJS.
2) Click [Ripping] and then [About music CD].
3) Enter the CD database URL in the [URL for CD information].
4) Click [OK].
Under DJS specifications, the CD database is provided by external services. It may therefore be difficult for us to identify the real cause of the connection problem.
For details, please check the announcements from your CD database service.
If you are unable to find the necessary information, it may be that the CD database you are using contains no CD information on the CD concerned. Try ripping another CD and see if it works. Or try a different CD database and see if it works.Net Number : 5 - Q5 Attempts to use DJS for line ripping displays an "Invalid recording setting selected" error message and prevents line ripping.
