You will need to connect to the internet to download the rekordbox software, upgrade versions, etc. You will also need to have a rekordbox-installed computer connected to the internet in order to activate rekordbox dj.

This slot is for mounting a theft-prevention wire lock.
Net Number : 6 - Q5 I would like to connect a DJ application to this unit. Should the USB cable be connected and a DJ application launched in a specific order? Can either be done first?

If this unit is connected after a DJ application is launched, the DJ application may not recognize this unit. Launch a DJ application after connecting the unit.

If you're using a PC/Mac that only has a USB Type-C port, you'll need a USB Type-C (plug) to USB Type-A (socket) conversion cable (sold separately).
